Colizzi<\/strong>, collects and analyzes the results of 47 randomized controlled clinical trials (RCTs) evaluating the efficacy and tolerability of <strong>Palmitoylethanolamide<\/strong> (PEA) in various human clinical conditions.<\/p><p>The growing body of scientific evidence accumulated over the last ten years allows<strong> PEA<\/strong> to be considered not only in relation to specific disorders, but also from a <strong>transdiagnostic perspective<\/strong>.<br>The focus is on PEA\u2019s <strong>biomodulatory mechanism on neuroinflammation<\/strong>, a key process underlying many neurological and systemic diseases. <\/p><p>Prof. Colizzi\u2019s review provides a comprehensive and up-to-date overview of the <strong>PEA clinical and biological profile<\/strong>, highlighting how its <strong>high-bioavailability formulations<\/strong>\u2014particularly <strong>ultra-micronized<\/strong> ones\u2014can act on:<\/p><ul><li>multiple molecular targets<\/li><li><strong>target cells<\/strong> (immuno-inflammatory, neuronal and glial),<\/li><li><strong>a variety of symptoms<\/strong>, from <strong>neurological and somatic disorders <\/strong>to <strong>visceral and neuropsychiatric <\/strong>ones, both as <strong>monotherapy<\/strong> and in <strong>association with other treatments<\/strong>.<\/li><\/ul><p>By modulating the<strong> neuroinflammatory processes<\/strong> common to numerous pathological conditions, <strong>Palmitoylethanolamide<\/strong> confirms itself as an <strong>endogenous biomodulator of great clinical interests<\/strong>, offering new perspectives for supporting the management of complex, multifactorial disorders.<\/p><p>This review, in summary, consolidates the role of Palmitoylethanolamide as a <strong>key molecule
