BALANIL^® CLEANSER

Orthodermic cleanser with neutral pH complementary to treatment of the male genital area disorders. Particularly indicated for the daily intimate hygiene in cases of balanitis e balanoposthitis.

The irritation and inflammation of the glans and foreskin are associated with local acute infectious states, and frequently are not connected with previous infections, otherwise they continue as a reaction to drugs or topical antifungal and corticosteroid therapies, or aggressive detergents. Also traumatic, allergic and dysmetabolic stimuli (i.e. diabetes) contribute to the onset of irritative/inflammatory phenomena in the mail genital region.
Further, a close relationship is observed between the lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS), tipical in the diseases affecting the prostate e urinary bladder, and the onset of erythema, pruritus, edema, pain and burning sensation at level of the glans and foreskin. The lower urinary tract symptoms include the whole of the urinary diseases: urinary frequency and urgency increase, incontinency and terminal dribble. The prolonged and/or frequent contact of urine with the balanopreputial skin and mucosa, predisposes the tissues to irritation and inflammation, especially in diabetic, elderly and immunosuppressed subjects.
Whatever the inducing stimuli, irritation and chronic inflammation of the male genital region lead to the alteration of the defensive properties of the mucocutaneous barrier, facilitating the implantation of pathogens cause of genital infections.

How to use

Cleanse two or more times a day with a suitable quantity of product, and rinsing with plenty of warm water. Dry thoroughly, patting the skin without rubbing.
